Beyond the Lusaka base, YWAM Lusaka runs an outreach in Munyama Village, Siavonga — reaching villages and islands with the gospel, healthcare, education and sustainable farming.

Besides the Lusaka base, YWAM Lusaka runs an outreach location in Munyama Village, Siavonga. Reaching the villages and islands of the area means travelling by road and by canoe — but the vision is the same as at home: to make God known and to serve whole communities.
Village and island visits
Our teams make regular visits to villages and islands for evangelism and discipleship, walking alongside people with the good news of Jesus and building lasting relationships.
Ending Bible Poverty
We distribute Tonga and audio Bibles so that everyone — including those who cannot read — can hear the Word of God in their own heart language.
Healthcare
Mobile clinics run together with local hospitals bring basic healthcare to communities far from the nearest facility.
Education & literacy
Donated computers, volunteer teaching and a carpentry skills centre open doors to learning and to work for young people and adults alike.
Sustainable farming
Over three years, more than 500 × 10 kg bags of mealie meal have been distributed, and since June 2024 women-led gardens have been watered by solar pumps — building food security that lasts.
The Lulangilo (“Hope”) sports tournament
Twice a year, eleven village teams — now including a women's tournament — gather for the Lulangilo tournament, using football as a tool for reconciliation with one another and with God.
