The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five-month course that helps equip people to reach the lost through evangelism, community development and other forms of ministry. It is divided into a 12-week lecture phase and an 8-week outreach phase.

A DTS is YWAM's foundational course. It aims to help people develop their relationship with God by learning to listen and obey His voice, and to grow Christ-like character on a biblical foundation. No degree is required — just a willing heart.

  • Lecture phase location — YWAM Lusaka, Mungwi Road, Lusaka.
  • Outreach phase — 8 weeks; exact outreach location determines final outreach cost.
  • Lecture phase: Zambia K6,500; Africa Category C K10,000; Category B K16,000; Category A K28,000.
  • Outreach phase: K6,000-K15,000 depending on outreach location.
