The next school is Impact & Engage — Redefining the Great Commission — running January 18 to June 20, 2027. The DTS is a five-month course and a stepping stone into the mission field. Applications are open now.
Do you have a heart to see communities transformed by the holistic message of the gospel — one that touches every aspect of a person's life: spiritual, physical, social and intellectual?
The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five-month course that helps equip people to reach the lost through evangelism, community development and other forms of ministry. It is divided into a 12-week lecture phase and an 8-week outreach phase.
A DTS is YWAM's foundational course. It aims to help people develop their relationship with God by learning to listen and obey His voice, and to grow Christ-like character on a biblical foundation. No degree is required — just a willing heart.
