Room to stay, rest and be part of the family — for students, guests and visiting teams on the seven acres at Lusaka.

Sharing a meal together at the base
The YWAM Lusaka community together

YWAM Lusaka sits on about seven acres just outside the city — a quiet, natural setting that has been home to students, staff and guests since God provided the land in 2001. When you come to study, serve or visit, the base is where you live: simple, shared and full of life.

Who can stay

  • Students — DTS and DBS students live at the base for the full school.
  • Short-term teams — church groups and teams coming to serve for a season.
  • Guests & retreats — Christians and church groups hosted for camps, retreats and meetings.

What to expect

Accommodation is simple and communal — shared rooms and shared life. Meals are taken together, days follow the steady rhythm of the base, and the natural surroundings make it an ideal place to withdraw, pray and hear from God.
